Visits to local organic producers & traditional craftsmen and craftswomen in the region
At the Gartenhotel Theresia, we have a diverse programme of activities for guests in summer. Once a week Frau Brettermeier invites guests to join her on a walk to one of the many organic producers in the region – from the smallest organic dairy farm in Austria, located in nearby Leogang, to the organic beekeepers at the end of the valley. Further weekly highlights include visits to the National Park garden and walks to the hermitage "am Palfen" in Saalfelden and then on to the shop run by local farmers selling organic regional produce.
Delicious delicacies on offer in the shop include dried bacon, ham, sausages, cheese, yoghurt, homemade schnapps and bread. It also has a selection of handmade items such as cardigans, pullovers, socks and felt slippers.
Guests staying at the Gartenhotel Theresia recive the JOKER CARD free of charge when they check in. This local guestcard gives holders access to lots of great deals and discounts in Saalbach-Hinterglemm and the Salzburger Land region. Highlights include free use of cable cars, the hiking bus and the shuttle service at the end of the valley as well as use of tennis courts and participation in guided walks hikes for all the family.
