Easy access to the slopes
Skiers and snowboarders will appreciate the outstanding location of our hotel. From the front door it is a short walk to the Mitteregglift giving access to the fabulous ski resort of Saalbach Hinterglemm.
Next to the lift there is an easy beginners' area where adults, kids and teens can find their feet on snow with the professional and friendly instructors from SkiLL ski school. Lessons are available for all ages and abilities, for both skiing and snowboarding.

How to get here
Drive past Saalbach heading towards Hinterglemm. About 500 metres after the road sign "Saalbach-Wiesenegg" you will be able to see the Gartenhotel Theresia.
Flexible and independent
- Approaching from the north, take the Munich-Salzburg motorway (take the exit "Siegsdorf" shortly before reaching Salzburg, then drive through Inzell – Schneizlreuth – Lofer – towards Zell am See). This route does not need drivers to have a motorway toll sticker, known in Austria as a "Vignette".
- Approaching from the west, take the Rheintal motorway and then the Inntal motorway. Follow the route Innsbruck – Wörgl (take the exit "St. Johann") – Saalfelden – Maishofen.
- Approaching from the east, take the A1 motorway, Vienna – Salzburg, exit "Wals" (Bad Reichenhall) – towards Lofer – Saalfelden – towards Zell am See – Maishofen.
Comfortable and environmentally friendly
Take the train to the railway station in Zell am See. From there you can use the local bus service to "Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Mitterlengau". Get off at the stop called "Saalbach-Wiesenegg-Hotel Theresia". The bus stop is next to the railway station. Buses depart once an hour shortly after the arrival of express trains times in Zell am See. The bus stop in the village is opposite our hotel.

- Guests staying at least one night with us get free bus travel from Zell am See railway station to the Hotel Theresia. Speak to a member of staff for details.
- Guests staying at least a week with us get a free transfer from the railway station in Zell am See to the hotel (available between 7:00 and 22:00). To use this shuttle service please book at least 24 hours before arrival.
