Physiotherapy in our Mountain Green Spa

The goal of physiotherapy is to prevent, minimise or remedy problems in the musculoskeletal system.

Our Selection of Therapies

We offer our guests and patients a wide range of therapeutic services:
  • Manual therapy (especially for soft tissue and joint areas) 
  • Post-operative mobilisation rehabilitation (to restore function to the operated joint as quickly as possibleFBL – functional kinetics (analysis of movement in respect to harmony, coordination and intensity)
  • MTT – medical training therapy (targeted training under therapeutic guidance for the purpose of treatment)
  • PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) stretching (the interaction between muscles and nerves is encouraged through stronger stimulation of sensors)
  • •    Breathing physiotherapy (treatment of illnesses and problems of the lungs and airways including the glottis with special techniques
  • Manual trigger point therapy (treatment and relief of so-called myofascial trigger points in the muscles) 
  • Manual lymph drainage (the draining capacity of the lymph nodes is positively encouraged by specific massage techniques)
  • Sports physiotherapy (staying healthy with athletic activity)
  • Medical taping (special flexible strips of tape are placed on the skin and pulled into specific directions in order to create dynamic connections between the skin and the tissue underneath)
  • Soft tissue techniques (depending on the region of the body, problem and desired effect, techniques such as classic massage, connective tissue massage, functional massage, etc. are used)
  • Posture and motion training (relieve stress with targeted postural and gait training)
  • Relaxation therapy (therapeutic procedures such as breathing techniques and Jacobson’s progressive muscle relaxation as well as targeted treatment of the thoracic spine – the centre of the autonomic nervous system – have a relaxing effect on the entire body)
