Every year "PROMENTE SALZBURG" honours 10 employers of the province
with the so-called PROMENTEUS AWARD for their efforts to provide handicapped
people with equal opportunities in business and fully integrate them into our
social lives.
In 2007 the award went to our Gartenhotel Theresia, which provides an adequate work to 2 handicapped people since 1 and 4 year(s). On October 9th, 2007 the ceremony was held in the city of Salzburg at the official residence of Provincial Governor Mag. Gabi Burgstaller.

The PROMENTEUS is a special award for an undiminished and passionate fight for
human dignity. Both mentally and physically handicapped people have a right
to employment which has been adapted to their special needs in order to keep
and not loose (or to help to develop) their self-esteem and enable them to earn
their living.
