Our cuisine has been honoured with the cooking award "Grüne Haube"(Green bonnet) for the use of natural and organic products.


National cooking award for best performance gastronomy concerning taste, digestibility and harmony of food and drink. Freshness, inner quality and first class origin of produce from predominantly regional, organic farming. The use of "fair trade" products, reasonable use of natural resources as well as particular environmentally aware management are a matter of course. All diets are well catered for.

Nowhere in Austria exist more organic food  producers than in the Salzburger Land!
